Workshop Renault with Amorim cork

The final week of Boisbuchet’s summer workshop season was characterized by intense experimentation with two specific materials – cork and glass. The dutch designer Maria Blaisse guided a group of designers from Renault in a corporate workshop. Introducing cork as a material with unexpected qualities for new applications. The workshop is organized in cooperation with the Portuguese company Amorim, the world’s largest manufacturer of cork.
At the same time Boisbuchet’s barn was transformed into an exciting glass studio hosting Corning Museum of Glass’s ‘GlassLab’ – this year directed by renowned designer and teacher Josh Owen.
